Expedient & Equitable Implementation
Time is of the essence. Nearly 70% of Americans want to see the U.S. become carbon neutral by 2050 (Pew Research Center). Simultaneously, U.S. energy consumption is projected to increase by 48% by 2050 (Statista).
The 2023 Energy Policy Summit, hosted by the American Association of Blacks in Energy, will focus on “Expedient & Equitable Implementation” providing a platform to discuss successful sustainable solutions, examine the impact of U.S. federal policies, and foster collaboration to ensure a just and prosperous energy future for all. Attendees will gain invaluable insights to drive meaningful change and shape a resilient global energy landscape with a special focus on Black communities, institutions, and stakeholders.
We welcome our AABE Members on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 for the AABE Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill and on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 for the Summit Day program at The Edison Electric Institute (701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C., 20004).
